Residential/Commercial Generator Service Agreement

Generators of Maine, Inc. (GOM) as the Service Provider, agrees to perform all items on the Maintenance Checklist each year as needed. (Genuine Kohler Parts are used when available).

Maintenance Checklist:

Engine Oil - Replace (Included)
Oil Filter – Replace (Included)
Air Filter – Check & Replace if needed (Included)
Spark Plugs – Replace (Included)
Plug Wires – Inspect
Battery Charger – Test
Battery – Test & replace every 4-5 years (Battery not included)

Governor- Inspect
Voltage/Frequency – Test
Fluid Leaks - Inspect & repair
Heater - Inspect
Electrical Connections – Inspect
Enclosure – Inspect
Transfer Switch-Inspect

Customer agrees to pay invoices when received for Annual Generator Service performed on their generator. The annual cost is currently $245 for air cooled generators less than 22 KW. Customer is responsible to notify GOM if they move or sell the property where the generator is located or no longer wish to continue this annual service agreement. Customer is responsible to notify GOM if they move or sell the property where the generator is located or no longer wish to continue this annual service agreement. Please note: If repairs are necessary and not specifically covered under this Service Agreement, repairs will be billed as follows: If generator is still covered by Kohler warranty, GOM will repair the generator per the warranty provisions. If the generator is not covered under warranty, then all repairs will be billed at $100 per hour for labor, plus materials. Labor includes travel time from and to GOM. PRICES SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

By signing this agreement, the customer is exempt from increased rates on nights, weekends and holidays.
